What ho! I decided against going to the Renaissance festival this weekend so I could bring to you the next installment of TWIC and so as to avoid going to a Renaissance festival. Huzzah!

• If Glenn Beck becomes the next Oprah, I am going to be bloody annoyed with…everyone.
• New photos from Area 51. And by new, I mean photos from the 1960s.
• Explosive Interview with Susdan Lindauer, 9/11 insider with foreknowledge of the attacks! Who beat a rap for spying on behalf of Iraq because she was not mentally fit to stand trial in the landmark case “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA -against- SUSAN LINDAUER, a/k/a “Symbol Susan”, Defendant” (future Attorney General Michael Mukasey presided over the case). According to the defense: “Dr. Goldstein, the defense psychiatrist, was somewhat less tentative, dismissing as ‘classic examples of the grandiose variety’ her claims that she was ‘a preeminent government operative who was not sufficiently appreciated’ and had contact with high-level government figures, and was possessed of psychic powers. (Goldstein Report 5/20/06 at 3) He reported also that ‘many of Ms. Lindauer’s delusions are classic examples of the persecutory type.’ (Id.)” But still an EXPLOSIVE INTERVIEW I’m sure!
• Speaking of “unfit to stand trial,” The Onion defined one of the marks of mental incompetence the ability to quote “Ron Paul’s economic platform verbatim.”
• Former cop on Alex Jones’ show ostracized for joining the Oath Keepers. Good.
• The John Birch Society. These scary people cosponsored CPAC 2010. John McManus does not offer conspiracy theories, only conspiracy facts, by which I assume he means full-blown conspiracy theories.
• Is Sarah Palin a tool of the New World Order? Hell, who isn’t?
• OMG! DEAD WORMS IN OHIO! HAARP!!!
• Antisemitism, the Sears Tower, PhotoShopping disaster porn and Chicago-style pizza.
• I’m going to say it. This is a fake interview with the former head of Deutche Bank. It’s just a list of conspiracy theory talking points, and it has a reference to the bogus Confessions of an Economic Hitman. This is soooooo fake.
• Tedium and the failure of the American education system embodied, Mike Adams, writes that the European e. coli strain was deliberately engineered to kill humans. Some, mostly morons, say it is weaponized plague. The photo actually has the caption “E.coli bubonic plague.” That’s like having a “man-gerbil,” for crying out loud.
• The Vatican has been infiltrated by the devil, says exorcist.
• An update on the crazily spinning core of the Earth from a few weeks back. It turns out it was just because a black hole had entered the center of the planet. Nothing to be concerned about.
• Perhaps this black hole is causing the mysterious cracks appearing in the planet?
• Jerome Corsi seems to be all over the place recently. Now, apparently, China is going to set up duty-free zones in Idaho, or something.
• From Liberty News Online: KEYNESIAN DEATH SPIRAL FOR AMERICA AND EUROPE! This is clearly the dullest death spiral ever.
• Luke Rudowski, who was in Atlanta a few weeks ago, showed up at the Bilderberger meeting and, of course, made himself completely unwelcome.
• Jim Tucker is not dead yet? Are you sure? He looked bad the last time I saw him. More on the Bilderbergers, who apparently have a leaky mole. They should have a doctor look at that.
• Apparently UFOs have their own version of storm chasers.
• I got it! Edward de Vere, Earl of Oxford! Hollywood gold!

Ahoy! It’s been another week of insidious insidiousness, sneaky sneakiness and false flaggy false flagitude here at Skeptical Humanities. I have been gathering fears all week and am ready to regurgitate the best of them up at you. So get your raincoats and shovels!

• Alex Jones, appearing on Russia Today (two bad things that go worse together), says that Texas should leave the union. I agree. GTFO, Texas.
• Alex Jones is really a true media whore. Anyway, he was at the Texas State Capitol this week, sweating all over the halls of power.
• How about this one: smart dust!
• A blogger finds someone who was willing to link the Jews to Fukishima.
• Well-educated, successful small business owner scared of contrails. I still think he’s a shill for Big Idiot.

• It’s official! Congress has been alerted to the uninstitutionalized mentally ill:

• Also in HAARP news, more earthquakes, radiation and “dot connecting”.
• Hey, just because you believe that they are Reptillian aliens doesn’t mean that you can’t be a racist puke about it.
• Safia Gadhafi says that the bin Laden assassination was to cover-up her son’s death. And if you can’t trust a Gadhafi, who can you trust?
• I’m sure that the Clintons could push that body count a little higher.

• At the Whistleblowing Airline Employees Association, the shocking–no, ShOcKiNg!–revelation that drone technology was used to crash the planes on 9/11.
• It’s like Kari Byron is speaking directly to me through her tweets. (Didn’t Manson say that about the White Album?) “Just read an advance copy of an article disproving most 9/11 conspiracy theories. Real science is just so much easier to prove.”
• Infowars on the ICC: “Fake globalist-funded civil society organizations form a fake globalist-funded coalition, which in turn are supplying a fake globalist-funded court with evidence to further what is entirely a self-serving, politically motivated agenda using ‘humanity’ as a mere and increasingly flimsy pretense.” It’s almost like you don’t trust the International Criminal Court very much.
• Sweden examining narcolepsy and vaccines. Controlled study nowhere to be found.
• Some Birthers apparently are saying that Donald Trump is in cahoots with Barack Obama.
• Another review of Jonathan Kay’s Among the Truthers. I happen to think that Kay is mostly spot on, and I loved the book. I think he veers a little off on some characterizations of universities, but it’s not because what he sees isn’t there, only not in the doses that he sees it. Here’s another review.
• It’s been a bad week for crazy maniac mass murderers. The Ratko Mladic arrest has spawned its own conspiracy theories.
• Oh, man, I missed the ConspiracyCon. Again!
• Why is NASA hiding UFO sightings from the ISS?
• The Vigilant Citizen has deciphered the occult significance behind the killing of Osama bin Laden.
• Karen Stollznow interviews Robert Schaeffer, and they dip into the conspiracy genre.
• Ah, a good ol’ fashioned Jesuit conspiracy theory. I am currently looking at this particular form of conspiracy in my research. Here’s a smashing little film called “Vatican Approved Satanic Catholic & Jesuit Churches.”

• The conspiracy theories in Pakistan are, as always, par for the course, reporteth NPR.
• Water-powered car + +Big Oil + HAARP + Fukishima = This.
• Well-written article on conspiracy that is too long for me to read tonight.
• Wisconsin earthquake to be caused by HAARP? What are these HAARP rings that I’ve been reading about?
• Hey, here’s something new for me. The Orion Radio Network. Almost the Onion Radio Network, isn’t it? I suspect they are much the same.
• Naked Nordic alien pube DNA.
• Alex Jones and some guy boldly take on dental health.
• Dominique Strauss-Kahn was actually arrested for trying to tank the dollar, says guy in Uganda. The whole article spins off in some strange directions.
• For some reason, maybe because of the composition of the Endeavour crew, Tuscon shooting conspiracy theories has been trending a bit lately.

It’s been a helluva weekend for me, which you will all probably read about in Skeptical Inquirer one day. This episode of TWIC is a day late because I needed a little time to recover.

• Before It’s News has recommendations to protect yourself from Japanese radiation. I say that you can always change your contaminated clothes but not your lungs, so make sure that none gets into your lungs by putting your head in a plastic bag and tying it off.
• Pat Buchanan thinks that the IMF sex scandal is bad for the NWO. I did see Ron Paul say on FoxNews that this was proof that you can’t trust these people. That’s right,  but only if you are talking about their penises, and only talking about this guy. It has nothing to do with monetary policy.
• Luke Rudkowski (sat at his table this weekend) wants change, but I don’t think that he changes his shirt. Change begins at home, Luke. 🙂 Here he interviews a rapper we never heard of. And Ron Paul wanders EVEN DEEPER into the uncanny valley! Ha!

• How many SEALS died during the raid on the compound? I’m guessing zero, but what do I know?
• Alex Jones says…God only knows. I haven’t even heard of this one.

Conspiracy Theory of the Week (+bonus extra conspiracy theory!)

• Ron Paul uncovers what I am proud to have dubbed the “MOO WORLD ORDER!“

• It’s not that Annie Jacobson proposed that the Russians were responsible for Roswell or that little genetic experiments were loaded into the spaceship. It’s that Jon Stewart did not utterly destroy her. Maybe he doesn’t like picking on the mentally ill. That’s a possibility, but big fail for the Daily Show putting this woman on.
