I recently wrote a guest post about the horrid little show Ancient Aliens for the website Skepchick. This means, of course, that we can expect the notorious Skepchick bump (which, now that I think about it, sounds like a pregnancy).

Just wanted to let you know that I had a great time reading that article. And thanks for drawing my attention to the grotesques, they are fantastic (but seriously, have these alien guys never heard the word “caricature” before? Or seen a cartoon? I guess Uderzo must also have been kidnapped by big-nosed aliens. Or fallen through a time portal).
Congradulation. Read the piece and commented. Still can’t believe how utterly awful the show is. Although its awfulness is compounded by the fact that it is full of what can only be called deliberate lies.
Thanks much. Yeah, the show is baffling. And talking to the physicist who appears on it didn’t clear things up any for me. There is a lot of deliberate self-blinding going on in that show.
